Our walk at Beaver Creek State Park is coming up soon – Saturday, September 21. Start from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm, finish by 4:30 pm.
Diana has worked out a nice variety of routes for you to choose from. The walk begins/ends in the historic pioneer village of Beaver Creek State Park. The trail is on paved and natural surfaces and takes you along the creek. The 5K option remains fairly level but is an out-and-back to eliminate any climbing. The 6K and the 10K will include rolling terrain, some rocky surfaces and a little mud. Boots and walking sticks recommended.
We hope you will come and enjoy this walk in the Fall woods. As always, we could use some help at the start table so if you can volunteer a couple of hours to help out there, it would be much appreciated.
The address is 12021 Echo Dell Rd, East Liverpool Ohio 43920.
From Route 30 / OH-11, take the OH-7 N / OH-267 N exit toward Rogers.
Turn left onto State Route 267/OH-7/OH-267. Continue to follow OH-7.
Our new program offers walkers a chance to relive childhood memories.
Come join the fun on the Euclid Carousel while on Cleveland Cultural Walk or
drive an hour to the Mansfield Carousel!
Pictured having fun is Bea Schaefer, our great checkpoint volunteer; Roy Kress longtime supporter, Karen Birt – charter member of Valley Vagabonds; Donna Baker, Treasurer and Carolyn Yarnell, secretary/trail master; and giving you a great farewell wave is Carol Gundelach, downtown Cleveland box coordinators.
